Top 10 CA office management software in India (2026)
A CA office is a logistics operation before it is anything else: who is in today, who is on which client, which documents are still missing, which jobs are late, and which fees nobody ever invoiced. This is our countdown of the top 10 CA office management software in India for 2026 — one tight screenful per tool, scored on the administrative machinery: staff attendance and timesheets, task assignment, document flow, billing, capacity and access control.
We stay independent; some links are sponsored. Our scoring criteria are public — see how we review, or browse the 2026 rankings scoreboard. Want the long-form version of this list? Read best CA office management software.

Office management vs practice management: the real difference
In Indian firms the two labels describe one system viewed from opposite ends. Practice management looks outward at the statute: due dates across GST, ITR, TDS and ROC, recurring jobs per client per period, portal status, UDIN and DSC records. Office management looks inward at the firm: who is present, who is assigned, how many hours went into a job, where the documents are, who is allowed to open them, and whether the fee was ever raised. A tool can be excellent at one and thin at the other — plenty of compliance engines cannot tell you an article's utilisation, and plenty of admin suites have never heard of QRMP.
The test is simple. If your pain is missed deadlines, start from the compliance end with our top 10 CA practice management software countdown. If your pain is people — staff you cannot account for, jobs with no owner, fees written off because nobody logged the time — start here. The tools ranked highest below do both, which is why the same names appear on our practice management guide and our task management guide.
What an office manager must actually do: the 8-point checklist
Before you sit through a demo, decide what you are buying. Office management software for CA firms is judged on eight jobs, and these are the eight we scored every tool on — take the list into the sales call and make the vendor show each one on screen, with your own data.
- Know who is working, and on what. Attendance the office can rely on — geo-tagged for staff at client premises — plus timesheets booked against a client and a job, not a vague day.
- Assign work without a WhatsApp group. Task boards with a named owner, a due date and a checklist, and recurring statutory jobs that create themselves each period instead of being retyped.
- Hold every document in one place. Encrypted storage with version control and a route in for clients — portal, app or WhatsApp — so nobody is hunting an attachment from March.
- Control who sees what. Role-based access separating partners, managers, staff and articles, and ideally branch from branch, because a client's data should not travel further than the engagement.
- Bill what you did. GST-compliant invoices raised off completed jobs, payment links clients can actually use, and a view of what is unbilled and what is unpaid. Fee leakage is an administration failure, not a pricing one.
- Show capacity before the season, not after. Workload per person, jobs per client and hours against the fee — so you know in August whether October is staffable.
- Keep the statutory clock outside anyone's head. A calendar carrying GSTR-1 on the 11th (13th under QRMP), GSTR-3B on the 20th, the 31 July and 31 October ITR dates, quarterly TDS returns and the ROC run of DIR-3 KYC, AOC-4 and MGT-7 — with reminders that fire before, not after. Always verify against the portal near the deadline.
- Guard credentials, DSCs and UDINs. An encrypted credential vault, DSC expiry alerts before signatures lapse, and a UDIN register you can produce on demand. See our glossary on DSC and UDIN.
How we ranked the top 10 CA office management software
Entries 1 to 7 are tools we have fully reviewed and scored, in the same order as our 2026 rankings: compliance depth, automation, ease of use, value at real team sizes and support, with verified vendor pricing weighted heaviest and every third-party score quoted beside its review count, because independent review volume in this category is thin. Entries 8 to 10 are office-administration tools we have researched from vendor documentation but not fully scored — they earn their place because an honest answer to "what should run my CA office?" has to include the capacity-planning specialists and ICAI's own free offering. The method is public on how we review.
- 4.8 From ₹1,000/year (excl. 18% GST) · unlimited clients on every plan
QwikCA takes the top spot because it covers all eight jobs on the checklist above in one system. The office-administration side is the muscle: role-based access for partners, managers, staff and articles; GPS attendance for teams working at client premises; timesheets that feed profitability and productivity reports; Kanban task boards with recurring tasks and checklists; an AES-256 encrypted document vault fed by a client portal; and GST-compliant billing with Razorpay and UPI payment links. Staff get their own mobile app alongside the client app, on Android and iOS, so updates come from wherever the work happens.
Under all of that sits a compliance engine most admin suites cannot match: GST, TDS and ITR tasks auto-created per client and period, GST portal auto-fetch confirming what has actually been filed, a compliance calendar with smart pre-deadline reminders, WhatsApp Business API and email for chasing, a client vault and CRM with a lead pipeline, DSC expiry tracking and a UDIN register — on AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit and data residency in India.
It is proven across 2,000+ firms and 5,000+ active users — Indian CA, CS and tax practices of every size, from solo offices through mid-to-large, multi-branch firms. The honest limits: it is cloud-only, statutory-audit and ROC/MCA workflow depth runs lighter than the legacy filing suites, and DSC expiry is tracked but documents cannot be e-signed in the app.
Pros
- Full office admin: RBAC, GPS attendance, timesheets and workload reporting
- Kanban task boards with recurring compliance tasks created automatically
- AES-256 document vault, client portal and separate staff and client mobile apps
- GST-compliant billing with Razorpay/UPI links and profitability reports
Cons
- No on-premise option — QwikCA is cloud-only
- Audit and ROC/MCA workflows run shallower than the legacy filing suites
- Tracks DSC expiry but can't e-sign documents in-app
Plans are flat yearly fees (excl. 18% GST) with unlimited clients on every tier: Solo ₹1,000 (1 user, 2GB), Starter ₹7,500 (10 users, 5GB), Growth ₹12,500 (20 users, the most popular tier), Scale ₹17,000 (40 users, 10GB) and Enterprise ₹27,000 (60 users, 20GB) — or ₹100/user/month billed yearly, ₹120 monthly. One month free without a card and a 30-day money-back guarantee; there is no permanent free plan.

Jamku
4.7 From ₹6,500/yr (5 users)Office muscle: task, client, document and billing management that firms have run for years, sitting under a compliance dashboard users repeatedly name as the reason they stay. It is one of the most widely used and widely discussed office tools among Indian CA and CS firms, and its Capterra rating of 4.5/5 from 36 reviews is the largest independent signal in the challenger pack. Check on the demo: recurring-task automation and notifications run lighter than the tools above it, and some GST/IT portal-sync, UDIN and DSC-expiry features ship in Jamku Portal, an add-on priced separately — so price the office you actually want, not the base plan. Our QwikCA vs Jamku comparison maps the gaps line by line.
- 3
Turia
4.6 From ₹100/user/moOffice muscle: mobility. Partners approve, staff update and clients respond from Android and iOS apps, so the office keeps moving when half the team is out at client premises. The compliance calendar spans GST, ITR, TDS and ROC work down to DIN KYC, AOC-4 and MGT-7, client chasing runs over WhatsApp and email, a DSC register raises expiry alerts, and Tally plus Zoho Books integrations pull the numbers in. At ₹100–₹200 per user per month it is the cheapest serious way to put the whole office on a phone. Check on the demo: per-user plans carry a five-user minimum, and SMS automation is not offered — WhatsApp and email are.
- 4
Finexo
4.5 From ₹5,999/yr (10 users)Office muscle: paperwork discipline. Document management is versioned, client credentials sit in an encrypted vault, and bulk WhatsApp, SMS and email handle the chasing that otherwise eats an assistant's week. Behind that, GST, ITR and TDS tasks are auto-created per client with QRMP status factored in, with ROC/MCA tracking and DSC alerts alongside. Flat pricing at ₹5,999 a year for 10 users keeps the office budget predictable as the team grows. Check on the demo: it has fewer public reviews than the veterans, and Tally and government-portal integrations were not confirmed in our research — test both before you migrate. See QwikCA vs Finexo.
- 5
ERPCA
4.5 From ₹200/user/moOffice muscle: the task-to-invoice pipeline, which is where most firms leak money. Woodapple has been at this since 2008, and the workflow and billing pair is its strongest asset, backed by a client portal and a mobile app in nine languages — genuinely useful when staff and clients work beyond English. Integrations reach Tally, Google Drive, Dropbox, Razorpay and PayPal, at ₹200 per user per month. Check on the demo: deep GST, ITR and ROC filing automation is not its centre of gravity the way it is for the compliance-first engines, and a handful of users mention data screens loading slowly at peak. QwikCA vs ERPCA goes further.
- 4.5 From Partly public
Office muscle: governance. ATOM ships role-based access control and timesheets as standard, adds KYB-style client onboarding, DSC management and recurring billing, and carries ISO 27001 certification — the combination larger and multi-partner offices ask for first. Its compliance calendar syncs GST, IT, TDS and MCA portal data, and integrations run from Google Drive and OneDrive to Razorpay, WhatsApp, Freshdesk and eMudhra. The vendor claims 6,000+ users; Techjockey scores it 4.9/5, from just 13 reviews. Check on the demo: there is no mobile app, the complaint users raise most, and pricing is only partly public (₹1,788 per user per year excl GST on Techjockey, ₹249 per user per month on SourceForge), so insist on a written quote.
- 4.3 From Free / ₹2,950/org/mo (billed annually)
Office muscle: timesheets, recurring tasks and Workpapers, plus client document requests and a secure self-service portal on the Premium tier — a tidy, well-built administrative layer if your firm already lives in Zoho. Billing and time tracking talk to Zoho Books natively, WhatsApp and email integrations cover client contact, and Zoho Finance partners get a genuinely free tier. Standard is ₹2,950 per organisation per month billed annually for up to five users, Premium ₹8,950, extra users ₹400 each per month, with a 14-day trial. Check on the demo: outside the Zoho ecosystem the case thins fast, there is no native India ITR or ROC e-filing, no confirmed mobile app, and Capterra currently shows no reviews. See QwikCA vs Zoho Practice.

Webtel Web-Edge
Office-admin specialistPricing on request · not yet fully reviewed by usOffice muscle: Web-Edge is the entry on this list that leans hardest into pure administration. Webtel Electrosoft's 100% cloud office manager for CAs, CS and lawyers covers task management, team management with access controls, document management, and — unusually — time and attendance tracking, resource cost analysis and capacity planning, the workload-economics features most practice tools skip entirely. Tally invoice integration handles the billing hand-off, and because Webtel also makes Web-GST, Web-e-TDS, Web-e-Tax and Web-e-Sign, a single-vendor stack is straightforward to assemble. Check on the demo: pricing is not published and independent review signal for Web-Edge itself is scarce, so budget for a sales call and ask for references from firms your size.

CCH iFirm
Global pedigreePricing on request · not yet fully reviewed by usOffice muscle: Wolters Kluwer's cloud practice suite has an India offering built around Jobs & Billing, Capacity Planning, Timesheets and a Client Portal — a clean workflow-and-economics view of an office that suits larger, process-driven firms with partners who want utilisation numbers rather than anecdotes. The vendor claims 400+ CA firms in India use it; that figure is vendor-stated and we could not verify it independently. Check on the demo: pricing is not public, and India-specific compliance automation — GST, ITR and TDS task generation, portal fetch — is not its pitch the way it is for the India-first tools above, so confirm both India support depth and what the compliance side actually covers before you commit.

ICAI CA Cloud
ICAI's free offeringFree · not yet fully reviewed by usOffice muscle: the price. CA Cloud is the institute's own free cloud offering, which makes it the natural baseline for any firm — try it first and let every paid tool on this page justify its fee against it. We have not completed a full hands-on review, so we will not score it or repeat feature claims we cannot verify. Check in your own trial: the things paid leaders charge for — recurring task automation across GST, ITR and TDS cycles, WhatsApp and email client chasing, attendance and timesheets, billing and fee tracking, and reporting depth. If CA Cloud covers your office, the price is unarguable; if it does not, a fortnight of real use will make the gap obvious.

Cutting the top 10 CA office management software down to two demos
Ten demos will cost you a fortnight and teach you nothing. Pick two against your worst administrative leak. If the leak is people — attendance you cannot evidence, jobs with no owner, hours nobody logged — demo QwikCA first, then Vider ATOM for its access-control and timesheet depth. If it is documents and client chasing, put Finexo beside QwikCA. If half your team is never at a desk, try Turia. If your firm already runs on Zoho Books, Zoho Practice is the cheapest sensible test. Firms that want capacity planning and cost analysis specifically should add Webtel Web-Edge or CCH iFirm, and every firm should open an ICAI CA Cloud account first, because free is a fair baseline.
Then run one honest trial: 20 real clients, real deadlines, three weeks, and see which tool your staff still opens unprompted in week three. Our buying guide has the full evaluation checklist, moving from Excel covers the migration itself, and if billing is the specific leak, our billing software guide and document management guide go deeper on those two layers.
Top 10 CA office management software: FAQs
Which is the best of the top 10 CA office management software in 2026?
QwikCA takes #1 at 4.8/5. It is the only tool on this list that pairs a full office-administration layer — role-based access, GPS attendance, timesheets, Kanban task boards, an encrypted document vault, GST-compliant billing and profitability reporting — with compliance automation that creates the GST, ITR and TDS work itself. It is proven across 2,000+ firms and 5,000+ active users. Jamku (4.7) and Turia (4.6) are strong, well-regarded alternatives.
What is the difference between office management and practice management software?
In Indian CA firms the two words describe one system seen from two ends. Office management is the administration: staff attendance, timesheets, task assignment, document flow, access control, capacity and fee billing. Practice management is the compliance engine: due dates, recurring statutory jobs, portal status, client records. The leading tools do both, and this page ranks them on the administration half. Our glossary entry and buying guide unpack the category.
Which of these tools track staff attendance and timesheets?
QwikCA has both, including GPS attendance for staff working at client premises, plus timesheets that feed profitability and productivity reports. Vider ATOM ships RBAC and timesheets, Zoho Practice has timesheets tied to billing, Webtel Web-Edge lists time and attendance tracking with capacity planning, and CCH iFirm offers Timesheets alongside Jobs & Billing and Capacity Planning. For Jamku, Turia, Finexo and ERPCA, attendance tracking was not confirmed in our research — ask the vendor directly.
How much does CA office management software cost in India?
Verified 2026 figures, all excl. 18% GST: QwikCA runs from ₹1,000/year (Solo, 1 user) to ₹27,000/year (Enterprise, 60 users) with unlimited clients on every plan, or ₹100/user/month billed yearly; Finexo ₹5,999/year for 10 users; Jamku from ₹6,500/year for up to 5 users; Turia ₹100–₹200/user/month with a 5-user minimum; ERPCA ₹200/user/month; Zoho Practice ₹2,950/org/month billed annually for up to 5 users (Premium ₹8,950, extra users ₹400 each). Vider ATOM publishes only part of its pricing, and Webtel Web-Edge and CCH iFirm publish none — budget for a sales call.
Is there a free CA office management software?
Two honest free options. ICAI CA Cloud (cacloud.ca.in) is the institute's own free cloud offering and belongs on every shortlist as the baseline, though we have not completed a hands-on review of its depth. Zoho Practice has a genuinely free tier for Zoho Finance partners. QwikCA has no permanent free plan, but a one-month trial with no card plus a 30-day money-back guarantee means a full evaluation costs nothing either way. Treat other "free" claims carefully — several are time-limited trials.
Does office management software file GST or income tax returns?
Almost never, and QwikCA — our #1 — is explicit about that boundary: it creates the tasks, fetches filing status from the GST portal, chases the client, stores the documents and raises the invoice, but it does not compute or e-file returns. Run the filing layer beside it: see the best GST software for CA firms and the best income tax software for CAs.
What should a multi-branch firm look for first?
Access control and capacity. Role-based permissions that separate partners, managers, staff and articles — and ideally branch from branch — stop client data travelling further than it should, while workload and capacity views tell you which office is drowning before the season does. QwikCA, Vider ATOM, Webtel Web-Edge and CCH iFirm are the four entries here built around that thinking. Our 2026 rankings scoreboard holds the full ranked field.
